With 2020 coming to an end we thought we would take the opportunity to look back on some of our favourite projects from throughout the year.
Georgia’s Favourite – Garrowby Tumbled Limestone – With it being harder than ever to see our loved ones in 2020, this customer created the perfect indoor/ outdoor setting for those lockdown socially distanced visits.
Matty’s Favourite – Minster Antiqued Limestone – Having been to photograph this project myself only a few weeks ago this has to be one of my top projects. I love our customer’s bold colour choice of kitchen units which contrasts perfectly with the antique finish of the stone. Gold/ brass finishing’s are often overlooked these days in favour of stainless steel or brushed chrome however these antiqued gold handles and light fittings coupled together with the vibrant paint choice has really paid off.
Derek’s Favourite – Garrowby and White Carrara Marble – My top project from the past year has got to be working for Gordon Ramsay at his home in Cornwall. This was our largest project of the year, which including flooring, staircases and a swimming pool, however due to privacy we were unfortunately not able to take any photographs. I enjoyed the trips down to Cornwall to complete the site measurements- here’s some photos of me enjoying the beautiful Cornwall views instead.
Yvonne’s Favourite – Jorvik Grey Limestone – I love the variation of the shades of grey throughout the Jorvik Limestone in this project. It looks like it has been there forever and compliments the colour of the units perfectly. The view and the setting is also stunning!
Dave’s Favourite – Knavesmire Grey Limestone – I really like this project because it is an old converted chapel in a town where my grandparents grew up. The grey tones seem to be a very contemporary colour pallet but have fitted perfectly with an aged building – mixing the old with the new is always a winning combination.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all of our customers, both new and existing, for supporting us through what has been a difficult year for us all. We would also like to give special thanks to those who have very kindly let us into their homes to photograph their beautiful finished projects.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year – Lets hope 2021 is a good one!
Best Wishes
